i lay most of the blame on Harris for refusing to back overwhelmingly popular positions in favor of ones basically nobody likes, then running a campaign that seemed to me entirely based upon threatening the electorate with a Trump presidency

I disagree with that conflation, but if voters were to follow Roan's (or anyone's) political takes uncritically in the polling booth, I don't think the problem would be Roan. She's entitled to speak her mind, and democracy presupposes an informed electorate.

She didn't even equate the two. She said she was gonna vote for Kamala while explaining how she honestly felt about the situation. Her statement was relatable to many young reluctant voters. A full endorsement would have just been phony.
