Can I say that it's not fair for any of you to get angry at me for turning down your request for a commission... I've been adamant about not accepting commissions and you shouldn't feel betrayed that I turned down your request.

I understand for sure. Commissions can be a good source of income but they also add pressure to an artist and that can change how you feel about your work, taking away your joy and the uniqueness of your works. Keep true to yourself! I'd rather see you keep your passion and joy in art!

Well sometimes it's not even that... somehow they think that cuz they're hot and in demand that I'm gonna draw them... those guys get so offended they unfriend me
Sounds a bit like a self-correcting problem, no? They can't compel you to draw them, and you can't stop them from being an egotistical entitled asshole. Life gets less stressful when you stop caring about pleasing people who demand your attention. Invest your energy into people who respect you. 😀👍
I guess that's how they get what they want and I don't blame them but don't expect it to work all the time and especially don't get pissy when when it doesn't
