All officers have duties under the European Convention and must pay regard to the ECtHR. That includes govt ministers, EHRC, SC, etc etc etc. There's also the genocide convention and ICC "crimes against humanity".

A certain former human rights lawyer and DPP may need to brush up on his defence... 😀

This is of course exactly why the reform party and the conservatives want to leave the European court of human rights. Arguably this has always been the goal of Brexit and their political agitation since then. It will handily remove virtually all workers’ rights.

Falkner, Kirkpatrick, and other individual commissioners, have willfully misinformed and mislead, businesses, healthcare providers, politicians, and the public at large

As a matter of urgency, them being held accountable for their actions is a must

The harm to trans people caused by companies (👋 Greenwich Leisure) and institutions (👋 Parliamentary Estate) acting on the EHRC interim advice is well documented.

Look forward to hearing what the EHRC has to say. Am sure they’ll do the media round….

Alas too little, too late! It's achieved whoever in the EHRC wanted this awful statement they've now retracted & the damage has been done which the media will continue to use for their campaign of hatred & misinformation.
