I use Canva for my covers and eyeball them with the KDP preview. No issues when doing the ebook cover but a bit of trial-and-error to get the paperback and hardcover covers right. I'll do 5 or even 10 adjustments in my cover PDF using the preview. And of course a proof copy before signing off.
