The evidence is other wise. Largest increase in public spending since 2002, big increases in min wage and state pension. Big increase in nhs funding he retains progressive elements such as NHS reforms, house building, settling four strikes under inflation deals and opposition to policies like Rwanda

It seems to be the Government ( both Labour and Tory) that all benefit claimants are scroungers and cheats and must be policed stringently whilst the rich are given free reign by HMRC.

I don’t think that the government thinks ALL benefits claimant are cheats, that’s your assumption but they certainly think some are gaming the system
