Personally, I’d recommend therapy over deciding to lean into doomerism and just hoping for a bright future to rise from the ashes
It's so easy to say "everything is already bad, might as well let it burn."
But then you start thinking about what that means for everyone and everything you care about most.
And seeing that dark hope in ourselves ought to be a sign that it’s time to adjust our focus.
doesn’t mean we need to have blinders on but just that we acknowledge the positives and assets along with the negative and challenges
It’s like saying “let’s get rid of air because it’s polluted.”
