Unfortunately this is where I disagree, and probably where our conversation comes to an end. As a Jew, I see no parallels to be drawn: motives, geography, scale, weapons, etc is all different. The only ties between both are the Jewish people.

As a zionist Jew, I voted for Kamala Harris because she would have been able to stop the war in its tracks right now, prevent further suffering, and possibly help establish a Palestinian State. Even when antisemitism runs rampant among the Palestinian movement, I would have never voted for Trump
The consequences of our actions will weigh on us all. At least I am glad I do not share the hypocrisy of performative activism, and neither do Jewish people (70%~ of us voted for Harris).
