Water facts are hard to just read and know what it means because hardly anyone has good context for scale on what 150 billion gallons truly means or looks like. Even harder if we start to measure in flows or acre feet. Basically every time you see a water fact you should be looking for context.

150B gallons sounds like a ridiculous amount, and knowing that it's less than 1% of state water use is so important to being able to approach the situation accurately. Comparisons to other large users and ag businesses is also super helpful.
