Taiwanese MIC is quite capable. They are building submarines domestically because nobody else is willing to sell subs to them, and they have a robust missile program. They have developed their own light fighter aircrafts as well. They have the economy to back the sector as well, unlike Ukraine.

Not enough Asian leaders realize this. It's rather ironic to me that Taiwan, who Ukraine never established a deep relationship with at all, would come to this understanding this quickly from PRC's modus operendi mirroring Muscovy. Most SEA are on Muscovy bandwagon. India is cordial with Putin.

Perhaps Japan and South Korea can approach Taiwan through cooperation. However, China is clearly a strategic enemy. North Korea is just an intermediary. All democratic Asian tigers can now pass their laws and supply arms to Ukraine.

Taiwan and Japan are indeed cooperating. I don't see ROK being able to make much of an overture due to their position to PRC. Taiwanese MIC is quite robust, so joint venture is the way to go.

It is a simple fact, that if russia is allowed to win, any other adventurous imperialist in this world will be emboldened to act on their own ambitions. China has been eyeing Taiwan for a while, but unless we show weakness by abandoning Ukraine, they are unlikely to think the risk worth it.
