Israel has enough AA, they dont need help. Yes, russia controls Crimea. No, they are not draining NATO, one of the reasons why NATO hasnt sent enough materiel to Ukraine is because NATO are keeping their own stocks in order. NATO is very much together. Yes its a good idea to get out once in a while.

Taurus is politically symbolic-but other weapons have way higher availability and Ukraine has the platforms to fire them. If Germany gives 100% of combat ready Taurus, which isn‘t produced anymore, Ukraine gets max 300. However, they can not be fired from the airframes Ukraine operates./1

Ukraine has showed extreme ability to learn new systems and adopt to new weapon systems and even improve them. Pretty sure they could get those Taurus to fly and do their job. From beginning everyone said it would take years to have Ukraine to work with Leopards.

Nobody here in Germany said this about Leopards. Taurus is a different technical level. Ukraine does not fly any airplanes that can fire Taurus - they still fire Scalp/Stormshadow on reduced capability with the pylon fix./1

While I am for Taurus delivery, it‘s slow and requires complex adaptation of the system while depriving Germany of a capability. I actually think there is options out there, that are available in larger numbers and are still produced and Ukraine‘s platforms are ready…
