Zelenskyy is correct. Putin is trying to drag out the war and hope the Ukrainians tire of it. This is a show of weakness and / or stubbornness on Putin's part. Not rational thinking. All these human lives are lost with no accountability on Russia's part.

Putin wants to make a peace deal with Trump only, following his idea of the big powers dividing the world between them.
