Good move. In this setup from Tump to have good ties with Saudi Arabia can be beneficial. Russia is part of OPEC+, so there are connections there. I doubt that Saudi Arabia likes Trumps "plan" for Gaza.

Zelensky has the opportunity to do an absolute master troll and offer the Saudis mining rights to Ukrainian rare earth resources under Donetsk and Luhansk once these are liberated, in exchange for a few cargo planes full of Saudi cash and guns.
