OK but can we get into mermaid naming conventions? How do merpeople even have enough cultural affinity for an inland mammal like a kebbit to be naming their daughters after it?
Maybe land creatures are exotic and special to them so they think kebbit is a really cool majestic creature instead of the no arm rabbit thing it actually is
