The official alternative to Starlink for Europe is Iris2. Not private nor governmental either.

Europe has a solution for Starlink, it is faster and the quality is better. The IRIS 2 program. IRIS will make Starlink obsolete and provide permanent global coverage.

Point is it will be fine (maybe) but today there is no EU alternative to Starlink.
Nor is there any reusable launcher to compete with SpaceX.

as of today there is not a terminal on sale for private customers yet. As for the launcher, I assume ESA has got some experience with satellites, before the ketamine boy started his own. I am sure that if we need for military use, we have got a solution.

Do not assume anything provided by Europe, until it is present, especially when it comes to the military.

Boy if we did not hear wonders in 2022 about ammo production, and so on. Ukraine was going to have too much to fight.
But one year ago, when Trump blocked the US aid, Europe was a no show.

I think you are neglecting the industrial rampup of Europe. But i see you are unsatisfied and have a tendency to doom - well, I'll leave you to that, now that the US has disappeared that will be an easier belief to cultivate.
I am on the side of the undefeatable spirit of UA, instead-and I trust EU.
