Glad you are getting it now! AI has pushed me away from being able to peruse a carrier in art. It has discouraged me more than any person could. Not only that but the insane toll it takes on the environment for “simple things” is astonishing. Thank you for taking the time to learn and change!

from someone in art school right now it is a terrifying thing for me and my peers looking for creative jobs. i've had professors tell me that they don't know if we'll have job opportunities when we graduate. it's horrifying and robs complete autonomy from creatives as it trains on our work.

I’m an artist and I try to sell some of my digital designs on platforms like Etsy and what’s really disheartening to me is that there are video tutorials about paying for ai so you can mass produce digital designs and sell them on Etsy for dirt cheap, which kills small shops that don’t use ai :(

To provide clarification: pretty much you buy a subscription to an ai so you can profit off of the art it generates. You then make and list seamless patterns in groups of 8 for $1-$4 and make massive profit because they are so cheap. (Hand drawn ones tend to be priced higher due to the human factor)

it's genuinely scary seeing what AI can do to artists jobs as well as the environment!!! the amount of power used to create AI of all kinds is absolutely ridiculous. plus AI art/generated stuff is fugly lol
