Rod Serling didn’t write monologues—he conjured incantations, sermons delivered from the twilight between reality and nightmare. If Shakespeare and Lovecraft co-wrote a manifesto on existential dread, it’d still fall short of his cosmic poetry wrapped in a cigarette haze.
