I'm glad you like it! I thought of giving it a light source in the bottom of the 'crater' (sort of like deadlights in 'IT'). Or perhaps that thing just facetanked a falling star or something but kept going.
I felt like i treated the whole creating process as such; wasn't really focusing on getting every line right and precise. And thought sketch was more fitting than a 'half-assed done speedpainting' haha
