This is why people drank the Kool-aid,why people give away their money, careers,homes,and belongings because their cult leader convinces them that on a certain day rapture is going to happen,and they willingly give everything away because they believe that they will be taken in the rapture.
Religion/mythology requires the sacrifice of reason on the altar of faith with the hopes that an invisible super-being will contact you in your thoughts. Apparently, "He" and why he needs a penis I still don't know, can't speak out loud to everyone simultaneously and clear up the confusion.
