Feels like a system put in place to try and catch bot accounts, since I doubt a bot would really be able to stop mass following for any long amount of time for the warning to go away. Definitely a messy system when put into practice it seems.

For what I know, usually bots do this mass following for scrapping information to feed on certain algorithms. By getting this warning, kinda are telling you maybe flag as a bot. So lay low for a while.

You will be fine, dont worry too much about it. Just dont follow too much people all at once for a long period of time.

Depends on how frequently you do the "mass following/blocking" from lists. I only do it once a week because most of the lists I do it with are massive. I think it's a matter of how frequent it happens that you get the warning/flag. I've not gotten one myself, so it might just be a frequency thing.

So if you're going from one list to another back-to-back and following everyone on those lists, it might be triggering the system's warning bell. Best to just pump the brakes and let this settle then just fall into a pattern of maybe doing the list follows once a week and see if this repeats.

That's stressful~~~ Unfortunately, it probably has to do with the algorithm thinking along the lines of "they joined 18 days ago and have followed 20K+ people in that time. That is over 1k per day. They might be a spam bot!" Then they automatically send the warning. It's a common automation issue.
