It's ketchup, but with banana as the thickener and flavor instead of tomato. My dad used to make "pizza" by thinly smearing some banana ketchup on a slice of white bread, put on some slices of cheese product, and oven toast it for 5 minutes.
I dunno how else to define it but if there was an objective list of regional pizzas, Filipino pizza would rank between New York and Brazil. Basically it's just sub par pizza all around.
