We literally have a Trump clone in power for almost 2 decades, the only thing people should learn from Hungary is to NEVER be like Hungary. Even after our PM resigns there's practically nothing left from the country as they destroyed all public services & privatized everything...
A significant portion of the population is uneducated and living in poverty, therefore easily misled with propaganda. A lot of poor people don't even know any other parties... The eastern side of the country is straight up like a third world one. Only the western side is somewhat livable.

Orban is part of the problem not just the problem itself. Many people have opened their eyes, but many are still blind. There are many of us who are trying to do something, but it is not easy. If you are interested in the topic, do not consider the primary media as a reliable source.

Orban is the fruiting body of the mold that grows in our soul. He's a manifestation of all the unresolved sickness that plagues the nation. He's there, because we have a lot of hate and he spins it into a political message. I along with many, hate him, but more has to be done. We need to heal.

Yep... Trump never hid how much he admired Orban and his grip on Hungaria. The thing is that most MAGA never heard about Orban. They just brushed this strange friendship off like they did with every disturbing fact displayed in plain sight.
They didn't vote for that knowing what was to come. No one has a crystal ball. But MAGA voters couldn't spot a lier extraordinaire and voted for this, too. They just didn't believe Project 2025 was what Trump was really promising until now. And they called Dems "lemmings!"
