These are problems that make Communism highly ineffective in a modern society; if were were still in the late 19th century and early 20th century it could compete with Capitalism as it was then; but certainly not Capitalism of today

I'm honestly surprised that you think that "American Chinese Food" is some vapid 1 dimensional cultural aspect rather than what it is which is what happens when two cultures interact and affect each other. Another example of a similar process is how Chapati spread from South Asia to East Africa
Yet I don't see people going around and saying that the fact that Black people in Africa are somehow bastardizing South Asian culture by choosing to eat the same food but in their own cultural style
One thing that I love about you Tankies to be honest is the fact that you can't understand that a flawed economic system can innovate to solve *some* of its worst problems. Capitalism for example took the challenge that Communism (and Socialism) had to its dominance and innovated to survive
Communism when faced with the fact that Capitalist economies were innovating better; spreading those innovations far more widely and were moving away in terms of standard of living. Could not adjust fast enough because a centralized system is inherently inefficient and very prone to corruption
Also and this has to be state as bad (and it is) as capitalism lack of care of the environment and it is going to fuck us all. It has remembered that some of the worst environmental disasters in history were caused by communists. Look at the Aral Sea (or what's left of it) as a great example
Capitalist economies don't innovate better. Capitalism stifles innovation because competition forces people to keep their ideas protected before they go into production and then companies have to reverse engineer things to figure out what the innovations were.
Um if they didn't the Soviet Union; China before it turned capitalist in the 80s and other fellow communist states should been able to keep up right? So show me at any point when a communist nation was able to out innovate a capitalist economy. (Not talking about vanity projects)
Because I'm talking about what capitalism does to culture. Like, one of my favorite foods is Cubano sandwiches because they were developed in my hometown through the mixture of Cuban, Italian, and German culture. You're making some pretty ridiculous assumptions about what I'm saying. Try questions.
Yeah what you are talking about is cultural diffusion this has happened since the beginning of time. You don't even need capitalism to have the same thing happen
No, I'm not talking about cultural diffusion. I'm talking about how capitalism takes culture, flattens it out, and sells it back people. That's not cultural diffusion. The Cuban sandwich is cultural diffusion. Kendrick Lamar performing at the Super Bowl to sell ads isn't.
Yeah and to me I look at and ask how is that any different? How is a restaurant selling you food and any different from what Kendrick Lamar is doing? They both want you to spend money on them to enrich them. In return you get a service or a good or both
I can tell by what you're saying that you don't. Try asking a question and see what happens. Ask a genuine question in good faith and see what happens. Try to have a discussion instead of throwing out accusations and expecting people to not tell you to go fuck yourself cuz right now you can...
