A picture that might be just as painful to #Assad as those of the fall of #Hama:
Hundreds of defected regime soldiers, policemen and officials are signing up to work for the rebels' Internal Ministry in the city of #Aleppp.
#Syria.

if that is true, is there any reason to think the rebels are better, overall, then Assad ?
But
- being better than Assad is an incredibly low bar
- they evidently put a lot of effort into nation building. Thats a good sign
- we don't support them, and they didn't ask for it. Thus we we don't get a vote anyway..
if people don't know that the rebels are better, maybe the 100s of people who, suddenly, are "experts" should STFU ?
I think that's because people know how bad the status quo is. Shaking that up at least offers hope for improvement.
Also it is a strategic setback for Putins imperial ambitions. A lot of people like that.
> "experts"
That is just the internet ..
