Column: House Republican hard-liners backing a “continuing resolution” is the latest signal that the GOP is Trump’s party — and what he says goes, writes Capitol bureau chief Rachael Bade.

Was there EVER any fucking doubt that the GOP is Trump's party? The GOP has been up Trump's ass since he was first nominated in 2016. He owns these gutless, spineless, fascists, body and soul.
When the Presidential Crimes Commission gets underway, there will not be one Republican US Senator or Representative spared. You betrayed your oath, your country and your constituents. Federal prison is the solution.
It is the role of Congress to ensure that the President abides by the Constitution. In failing to act, in accepting so many illegal actions, they are not just failing the people, but in my assessment, are traitors to the nation.
Well, what can I say. Trump supporters LOVE the guy. In their eyes, he can do no wrong. When, otherwise, sensible vote for a guy like him, it's a hard force to fight. They wanted something different -- they got what they wanted. Until he bores them, they won't change their minds.
It's similar to a young girl who falls in love. All her friends warn her the guy is no good. Of course, she doesn't listen to them, and she has to experience and discover for herself what they already knew.
Although I didn't agree with Senator McCain on a lot of issues, he's the only Republican senator that would tell Trump and his own party to Fuck off if he thought they were doing the wrong thing for the country as a whole.
Because they’re an embarrassing bunch of pussies who are afraid to do what they were elected to do. The felon in chief and his army of henchmen have threatened them and they’re too afraid to do their jobs. It’s much easier to just give the country away. An embarrassment.
He only cares about his interests. He doesn't care about the people. Reminds me of the 'I love you' computer virus. Many clicked, got infected 'cause they needed love. Trumpkin said he cared about people and voted for him because they liked what they heard without thinking further. They got infected
Republicans have long warned against socialism, communism, & Marxism with fiery ideological zeal—carefully omitting that these systems were always totalitarian in structure. Now, the new US administration mirrors that tactic in reverse: using capitalism dressed in democratic language to do the same.

The Party is an unholy mishmash of white nationalists, populists, libertarians and oligarchs (and their running dogs). Without Trump, it will implode.
They've basically hunkered down and are waiting for the whole fascist thing to go away of its own accord
Step 2. make stock market crash through chaos
Step 3. money saved from firings give billionaires and corporations massive tax cuts
4. the same people buy back stocks in their own companies, creating a Wall Street rally they benefit from.
