Mass deportations, "holding" camps, dehumanising rhetoric, threats of annexation, persecution of minorities, shutting down of govt agencies, freezing benefits & healthcare, removing education, & now destruction of research literature?

I'm not mentioning any names but it does sound scarily familiar.
