Although anyone who's been awake since 2016 knows Rubio has never been anything but a Trump puppet. He's not smart or strong, he's breathtakingly hypocritical, and he contributes nothing constructive to the Senate or the nation generally. He's just a reliable operative for Trump. Murphy knows that.
