I think if her contribution is reduced to a banana skirt, it's probably best not to cover her, but it would be a shame. I'm still upset that my French classes decades ago ignored her philanthropy and WWII heroism. But they ignored francophonie too.
Also, just before the dance montage above, the three kids briefly put on afro wigs and mild blackface for no purpose other than comic relief.
