2. Never, ever ask to change game settings or sensitivity. If you say these words, they are trained to ignore you. People who have a skill issue ask about sensitivity and settings. If you want to exert your customer rights, tell them you have a problem or the machine malfunctioned. Ask for a refund.

3. If you cannot hear the game, tell the staff you cannot hear the game or music. If the other game behind you is too loud, tell them that. Do not ask to raise the volume.

4. Ask your friends to talk to staff too. Do not ask alone. If you ask alone, you are a problem customer who may or may not be right. If more people complain, it identifies a real problem.

5. Do not hunt down the techs or people wearing the tech team shirt. Ask for a store manager. If you know the #Round1 store, there are often managers that really care and listen. Find that person and explain your *problem*.

6. If you frame it as a problem and ask for a refund, they will take you seriously. If you complain and still play the game, they will ignore you. Problems = someone will eventually investigate and figure it out. Complaints and payments = game works as intended.

7. Email, social media, etc are at your disposal. Raise awareness. If a cabinet is not working correctly, tell people via google reviews, yelp reviews, zenius, tiktok, x, threads, bluesky, whatever. "This cabinet does not register hits with the bachi bandai namco sold me! Why won't Round1 fix it?"
