But PP has been campaigning since he started running for leader of the CPC. He ads are so cringe worthy that I find it hard that people ever considered voting for him. I remember that man who had a boxful of ballots and said they were all for PP. Hope this election shuts him up.

And we run our elections mostly properly: enough polling stations, paper ballots, hand-counted, no gerrymandering, etc.

The US's corporate inefficient healthcare and all that election spending inside and outside their constant campaigns, corporate prisons, all counts as GDP and skews GDP per capita numbers compared to Canada.

GDP per capita can mask a whole lot of inefficiency.
