Yes, and quite often it's a matter of one new earworm popping up, then me finding a couple more songs by the same artist if I'm not just spamming one song alone.
<.< >.>
Noooooooooo.....
Well, maybe 6 or 7 depending on the specific maladaptive daydream I'm using to exist in any specific situation, but WHO Doesn't do Thaat?!
I used to do this but instead I just kept adding those 3 songs to a playlist and here I am years later with a 1200 song playlist going on 80hrs long lol
I listen to 1 song that I'm obsessed with on repeat for a month and then after that I may play other songs to switch it up a lil until I find a new song to be obsessed with.
Nope. I tend to listen to albums, more than songs. Recently, the latest single of one of my favourite bands has been featured heavily in the selection.
No, except that SPOTIFY keeps thinking I want to! I don't like to listen to the same songs again and again and it drives me crazy how often they keep pushing it! Give me new stuff!
Yup! Pick a song, listen to it on loop for like 2-4 hours, pick the next, rinse and repeat for the few songs I'm loving at the time, then go back to the first one and start the loop over again.
Yeah… surprisingly the one that I listen to the most is from a non mainstream anime… it’s called Extra Magic Hour from Amagi brilliant park I listened it on repeat for like a whole month no joke
Sometimes, but i love finding new music too. That feeling you get listening to a new song and getting goosebumps is euphoric and then you listen to those over and over.
i do this but with full albums, so i listen to one album on repeat (sometimes i fixate on a couple songs tho) and they usually last me for entire months this way
I try to use my Discover Weekly to listen to new stuff, but it hardly ever plays out. Gotta listen to the same five post hardcore songs until I’m put in the grave!
I mean, Smell of The Game, Baby One More Time (Jack Black Version) and Un vino, una cerveza from Pedro Suarez Vertiz are epic and all, it's hard to find a "replacement" for those songs.
Pretty much, i always simply use my "Likes" playlist on Youtube Music and my attention span doesn't usually get further than the 3rd-5th song so... Yeah.
I listen to a playlist I made with over 2000 songs in it on shuffle but will change my opinion mid way through listening to it and then put one song on repeat for 4 hours or until I start to find it annoying
I mean I've been listening to Go-Getters and "Wannabe in the style of System of a Down" for already more than 3 weeks... and they're still the same things I've been listening to.
I have a few songs i can go back and forth to. Have a large Playlist so your three songs on repeat can change when the dopamine needs to recharge in those songs
I'm the complete opposite! If it's something really special to me, I'll listen to it as little as possible, even leaving it for weeks before hearing it again, keeping the freshness of the song in. Unless it's the kind of music that needs to grow on you.
Not 3 Songs but i have a playlist i hear every time when i have a long drive with my car.
This playlist exists for many years now and on rare occasions a song gets deleted or a new song added.

I listen to the same one song for months on end, and it drives me crazy C:
Then I just find a new remix of that one song to listen to until I've gone through them all and have lost my mind and 300 years off my life!
Highly recommend doing the same 😁
SoundCloud days were better...
But everytime I find a new earworm, shit gets real.
Those 3 songs then belong together in my head in that order and I can’t listen to one without the others. Forever.
Have you HEARD Dr. Worm?
3 !!
I can listen to more then one ? !
holy f*ck !!
But then, what happens to the three “old” tracks? Do you end up hating them, or do you randomly rediscover them after a few years? 👀
So yes, Yes I do.

Does that count?
*Looks at APT looping in the background*

I know exactly what both of you are talking about, though.
I have roughly 500 indie songs on a thumb drive and I play that on shuffle in the car. Never listen to OTA stations.
