The devs really understand what it’s like to be a lesbian, given the entire game happens over the course of three days and the two are already connected at the soul.
It’s a trope I hate in fiction tbh, they had 3 years to work with. There was no reason to condense the entire relationship to 3 days.
Every LiS game suffers from that sort of compression.
The best way to look at BtS is that we are seeing why Rachel meant so much to Chloe and maybe even the high point of their relationship.
The journal kinda highlights this.
