I love the words that you put together as it's true, sadly. The teenagers that I've had the pleasure to talk to over the last 2 years have way more insight into what's happening than most of the adults that I've talked to. The teens are angry and scared for their future and wish we adults were woke.
Isn't it a hell of a thing where young Americans are not sure of their future and what it can be? Young folks currently see adults especially older white men who control our businesses and our politicians, destroying our country because of their fears and convenient ideology based on hate of others.
You nailed that!! I don't know the answer, but I see a pathway ahead. I talked to hundreds of Republicans here in my county, and they are not happy with anything the administration is or has done. The mid terms will be something to see.
We first must hold the Democratic party leadership feet to the fire by telling them to fire all of their political consultants and go into cities towns and show us that they're worthy of leadership and our $$$ investment. They need to promote youth involvement more. Flood the media with facts.
Thank you for appreciating my comments. We do have a pathway, but it requires that we do uncomfortable things by taking actions to make those who are in power stand up for our Democracy. They're being paid to do this. Our kids are confused by this and want someone to do something.
Being active in this fight, especially for Americans, is a slow arduous process because we have gotten used to democratic ideologies that have made our lives better. Once an avalanche starts, nothing will stop it until it is done. We are the snowflakes in that avalanche.
