This. Pence was abhorrent, but he was never ever "worse."

Remember back in 2017 when some of us were hoping Mike Pence would force Trump out of office and assume the Presidency, but so many were, "No! Pence would be worse!"

I hope it's clear now that though Pence is an off-putting fundamentalist weirdo, he would be far far preferable to Orange Shitler.

I hate Mike Pence and everything that he stands for, but he at least seems like he has some level of integrity that the modern GOP lacks. He said "no" when asked to violate the Constitution. That said, I still hate him for everything else he believes.

Pence is Christian and lives in accordance with his conscience. We can still admire a principled person even tho they may not hold our own personal beliefs.

I think Pence deserved the Medal of Freedom for standing up to Trump on Jan. 6th. Anybody think JD Vance has that mettle?

Pence is still not a good guy, though. He phoned for advice to see if the electoral college votes could be legally discarded as trump asked.

the thing is what he's saying i think MOST people would say except the people in office who are afraid of being primaried and/or losing their seat. Pence isn't in office so he has nothing to lose speaking the truth.
