Wow that's great. I know the holidays can be a tricky time but you've done so well this past 13 months, 15 days, I know you can do it. Praying for you everyday.
Woohoo! Congratulations! I don't know what it's like to have that demon but my ex passed away at 55 from alcoholism. I gave up cigarettes (1 1/2 packs a day) but I'm still addicted to sugar. I'm so proud of people who understand that they are better people when they can tame their addictions.
Sweet. Congratulations. Sobriety is very rewarding. I've been 30 years and where I am now as compared to where I was are totally 2 different worlds. If you ever feel an urge, ask for help. There's great strength in Sobriety. And great friends. Again, Congratulations.
Congratulations on you time sober. I know from bitter experience how hard early recovery is. I got to 27 years in September and if I can do it then anyone can x.
I posted and realized — I think this is from Wolf of Wall Street which, though I’ve never seen it, is apparently a drug- and booze-fueled bender of a movie. Just want to say that the GIF’s sentiment is real, not the message from the movie. 😵💫
Tomorrow will be 1 year, 1 month, and 16 days for you.
It’s been 35 years for me, sometimes one hour at a time.
It works if you work it.
Best of luck! Don’t doubt yourself.
Congratulations I went through this with my hubby. I know it’s so very hard especially in the beginning. Do not let anyone discourage you ever from this path. Sending you hugs
34 years, 9 months, & 5 whole days sober. And no matter how bad some of those days got when sober, I still would take any one of those over any so called best days back when I was still using. For people like us there is no bad situation we won’t make worse with a drink.
Keep it up lass! Even if they say otherwise, there is more than one life and this, the yours one is a taste of good things to come. never give up. Congratulations for everything!
This is truly an accomplishment to be proud of! Not only does it take strong willpower, it takes consistent self-discipline, and it's truly amazing that you've chosen a better path for yourself and your life! Keep up the good work, each day is building a bigger change for your future. 😊
Your liver will love u forever.
But watch out,if u become diabetic for no real reason.
Assume your liver is in trouble.Happened too me.caught it too late, had a transplant. Now i swap alcohol for cakes and soft drinks.

Well done!
Tobacco free since 08-23-2023.
I stopped drinking last year as well, but I'm not counting that accurately. Probably something like 1.5years (ish)
Your journey passed through challenging days along those struggling nights.
