Everyone who lived through the “everything will be MOOCs in 5 years, you should completely overhaul everything about how you teach” era is nodding knowingly.
I was at a symposium for uni faculty about using AI in their teaching and everyone has been convinced that this is somehow vaguely "the future" so we must shove it in to our teaching in order to "be relevant" to students. I remain unconvinced and every word out of Altman's mouth convinces me less.
