Water reflecting the scenes around it reminds me of the 7 day-coma, the shredding of, & my white-knuckling passage through life, following a TBI, a hit-&-run driver “gifted” me a few years ago. Coming out of a coma, realizing what happened, & battling through cognitive rehab, reminded me of this:

I'm really sorry that happened to you. I'm familiar with TBI. I watched my mother fight her way out of a coma and struggle to regain her self again. Nature seemed to help a bit. ♥️

& more; but oftentimes, I feel like Humpty Dumpty: all the King’s horses & all the King’s men can’t put Humpty together again. Left with enough smarts to know I’ll never be smart enough but could’ve been worse

She always told us stories about the little water girls and the things they did right or wrong as her way of explaining right from wrong. The water girls had a catfish for a pet and we had a cat.
