Last year, when I first highlighted the matter to the EHRC that her declarations of interest constitute a direct conflict of interest with her role as commissioner, they claimed that this was not the case. What has changed since then? Well, she has now added LGB Alliance as ANOTHER client.

Her declaration clearly states that LGB Alliance are a CLIENT. That means she is being paid by them to litigate against the very guidance she is meant to develop for the EHRC. It means that for ANY debate at the EHRC concerning matters of gender identity or protected beliefs, she would normally

And it isn't just Akua Reindorf either....This is one of the court cases of Alasdair Henderson, another commissioner of the EHRC. The difference between Alasdair Henderson and Akua Reindorf is that he is trying to hide his involvement with the gender critical movement by being deliberately vague in his description of the declaration of interests. As well his declaration lacks completeness as highlighted in red.

This has nothing to do with that. It's about her being a commissioner in the EHRC which is the "highest level decision-making body in the organisation".

She is in a position of power of a body that creates guidance that she will use in her cases. Do you not see the conflict of interest there?

Cab rank rule doesn’t apply to all those “I am advising a charity”, only to cases in which she has actually been instructed. And whether she had a choice or not doesn’t necessarily affect the existence of a conflict of interest even so.
