I like the overall layout, but question: by not tallying multiple items together in the UX, does this mean it's not possible to buy 2 of x, 3 of 4, and 5 of z all at once & they each have to be calculated/purchased by the player individually?

We're still experimenting with that. The current implementation doesn't have full screen overlay though.

Overall our main goal is making sure all UI is controller friendly too!

Not sure if it'll affect gameplay but it is often fun to use the UI to tally up the best way to spend resources, a fullscreen overlay I believe would make that impossible but is faster for single item purchases
