gosh I really like both, they give very different energy-

The box one gives a more vintage analogue look as it feels reminiscent of old cartoons.

The right feels more modern, but still reminiscent of the 80s.

I like the transparent one the most, adding a lot more charm to the environment of the stream, but I do understand if the boxed full render may be easier to make and does add to the nostalgic other worldly look

i think the boxed one fits your stream vibe more! its reminiscent to me of how on actual TV they sometimes have a little square of the host in the corner while the main content is being presented.

Yeah after reading everyones feedback (as of now), I think I'm coming to the conclusion that no-one would mind if I just alternate between the two. Some streams full, some transparent

The right is necessary for collab streams, but the left is just simply better optimized/simpler to make stuff for

I love the rendered box look, as it paints an illusion that we're viewing different angles. And the way it's filtered really fits the aesthetic vibe you're aiming for.

While the transparency feels like it sticks out too much, if that makes sense.

For gameplay/focusing-on-screen the transparant render but for something like a listen-along I think your boxed model would be more nicely integrated into the stream overlay/setup.

Dealer's choice tho ultimately.
