3/3 But use it to help with plot? Doesn't that make the art bit empty? You can rather go watch some movie, listen to music, read a book, talk to someone about their life, lol or use your own irl experiences as inspiration, no?😅

I read a good thread about AI in writing by Brent Weeks on X.
It would be great if AI could check for continuity errors for example. Helping with grammar sounds good too.
But why use AI to do the interesting creative stuff? I like to do creative things to be creative 😀
1/2 Why? Because we have distorted relationship to creation/creativity. Because people care more about the final product, than the process and what you learn from it. Likes, views, dopamine, whatever, pick your poison. Caring about the final product makes sense if you are doing it professionally,
2/2 rather than hobby. But even then you need to maintain some healthy relationship towards it or you burn out. I'm guilty of this too. Not in the likes/views department, but i definitely care more about how the final creation looks and i may realize i didn't enjoy the process at all.😅
