Love this document! Is there a place or a website for LUTI to find more info out about it? I've always been interested as a spectator but never knew where to start.

I don’t think LUTI has a dedicated website, but they have recently partnered with https://sendou.ink here: https://sendou.ink/to/1066/register

They also have a discord server where you can ask TOs any questions you have in helpdesk! (joinable from the https://sendou.ink page)

I distinctly remember last year luti we had 4 EU teams in our pool who couldn't do default time and we had to keep doing like noon wednesday/thursday sets just to play at all - I can vouch that the scheduling struggles are indeed real

At least for my team we have a solid schedule but it will(1/2)

most likely challenge other teams avaliability - simply bc we can only do NA/EU time on Sat/Sun and Mon-Fri the earliest we're all avaliable is 9pm PST(thats what college + evening job mon-fri year round does for ya)

I think we got it though, I'm hyped personally, as long as I win a single set(2/3)

Last year, I went well out of my way to find everything my team needed for LUTI, and while it was still fun, going 0-5 after a months investment and constant practice just showed me my team might not be the best for me(especially bc luti only worked bc I had the summer off from work)

IIRC rules-as-written, if two teams need to play each other, Team A can do default time and Team B can't, then Team B either must use their reschedule or forfeit the set.

yeah like I'm always avaliable sat/sun at default time(since we reserve it for events and I never work weekends due to the nature of my job) but thats going to be nightmare hell if a team can't do weekends at all(which happened a lot in s15 for me)

I remember we were in the same group an one of the EU teams was only available on a Saturday at like 4am. Poor K9 having to schedule everything 😂

But seriously we were split into 10 A and B and it wasn’t separated by region?? Seemed like an odd decision 😂

Yeah def hope it doesn't happen again, lowk if some oce teams sign up and get seeded similar div as me it'd be perfect (although oceanink also announced their league running at the same time so doubt it)

actually on that note it's crazy how Luti CCA AND oceanink are all running at roughly the same time I'm curious what individual decisions led to this happening bc its going to be a very busy few months for the avrg comp player of every scene and region bc of that

This is really good for teams to consider! I've had good and bad times in LUTI, and it definitely brings a lot of stress that newcomers might not know to prepare themselves for.
