I love watching the filmed production but a couple of times I teared up even knowing the songs...
On SiriusXM Broadway channel they play "Me and the Sky" and it ends with the last word and a moment of silence instead of going right into the next scene and it always gets me.

The second was when I saw the national tour on stage I felt the reoccurring theme thru-out of how much people were changed by 9/11. Lines like "between there and here" and "I don't feel like me from yesterday" hit bigger on stage than in the film and relatable to all of us, not just the characters

Great musical production. One of the best live shows I’ve seen in a long while. I sobbed - to be reminded of that horrific day &the lives that were lost or forever changed &the kindness of strangers. So many heroes stepped forward that day. Proud to be 🇨🇦. We need more heroes in the days ahead.

A good friend of mine was an American Airline flight attendant on one of those flights. She cannot say enough nice things about Canadians. However, she still has a rough time whenever September 11 rolls around.
