To spell it out, I'm saying that a world without trans people will exist because, in time, a world without *any* people will exist. If you like, pretend I'm talking on a scale of millions of years instead of hundreds (or dozens). I find that helps.

Exactly. Just because one denies them, decries them, or genocides them, does not mean they cease to be. So goes for any oppressed subset of humanity. Which is why it is vital to stress that trans/queer/womens/minority rights are human rights. All together strong or repressed separately.
