I grew up in Michigan and, as we speak live in the Ohio Valley near Wheeling. I hereby establish an official Pure Michigan office at my homestead! Look for the State Flag ;)

Sorry, but the Ohio River runs all along the northern state line of Kentucky. Since we already have a Kentucky River, I think the formerly known Ohio River should become the "River of the Bluegrass"!

Yep - not sure who got the best of that deal. They never taught us that in school, but I saw it on "How the States Got Their Shapes" on the the History Channel. Explains a lot about the Ohio State - U of M rivalry.
