Indeed it would. That's a chilling, frightening thought. Oath Keepers, 3%ers, Proud Boys, Bugaloo Boys, and so forth would want one.

They all overlap in a Venn Diagram, WANT violence, against those deemd the "wrong kind" (insert an out-group) and dream of "going to town" doing what they do....

Agreed with all the above, but I'm not quite ready to give up on the legal branch entirely just yet. There are now 40 lawsuits (tempor stays) against Trump's EOs. I'm giving the Supreme court about 2 months to start upholding the stays or I do think martial law is a real possibility after that. 🫣
