Took my Driver's test in a Cadillac 4 door, Sedan Deville
Big as a boat but could corner like on rails.... Came with the 1st auto lights when dusk hit or wipers turned on, voice alarm, CB radio, ....hell, I lost my virginity in that car also...lol

My mom owned an 83 Fleetwood Braughm 4 door Caddy. Fast as hell, built like a tank, & a fun drive. My mom got into an accident with an 89 Dart. Didn't eveb scuff the paint. DESTROYED that Dart. 😂

Same..my mother had just traded in an Omni that I had wrecked 3 times..she saw how easy it was to do damage to that car.
She bought the Cadillac
2 weeks later, she was rear-ended by a city bus and pushed into another car.. She walked away with a bruised knee...The Omni Would've folded in 1/2.

Just to be clear, the vehicle shown is an EV. Doesn't mean it's as energy efficient as something smaller and sleeker, but no gas involved.

Yeah, I think we got way better EVs available. I doubt efficiency is even a core tenant of Tesla anymore, just cost versus profit.

Definitely better EVs available! But still nothing we can afford that meets our needs. Realistically, all I'd need is for a charging station in one more place and everything would change. (Our son lives 150 km away in a town with no chargers.)

I'm just floored that they even attempting to make an Escalade, let alone one that works. I know Cadillac's standards. They don't settle for half-ass. It either goes or doesn't get made.
