Same! And their little guttural chips that follow. I’ve had so many would-be bust birding walks lifted by the insistent teakettle piercing the woods. (There’s also a pair that like a shrub right under my bedroom window—they make for a good alarm xD)

I've one of these guys in my Wisconsin yard for about a year now! Except in deep winter hear him singing all the time and see him occasionally. No idea if anyone has come to answer his call yet, I hope she does though ❤️

I love their style as they bob n hop. We have a couple that over winter every year. I keep a large supply of dried mealworms for them and the bluebirds. They make me feel so happy to watch. BEAUTIFUL photo of one! 💙
