I'm going to pretend to be my daughter: "Does the snowman melt? I'm not going to watch it if the snowman melts." She's felt this way ever since she watched "King Kong." No "Bambi." No "A Dog's Purpose." no "Marley." I tell you, the kid's missing out. I barely convinced her to see "Lincoln."
Just started it and since you all say it’s very funny I’m going to forgive the premise that everyone thinks she can only be happy if she has a man in her life … I think it’s ok to say that on Bluesky. No bros going to troll me?
My teen daughter and I couldn't last 15 minutes into this movie. The cringe factor was uncomfortably high. Too corny to even make fun of! Doesn't help that Ted from Schitts Creek is "hot frosty". 😂
We watched the trailer only to see our hometown on the beautiful Thousand Islands -

Really? I need something to make me laugh but I hate those romcom things where all the people are beautiful and love other beautiful people. Needless to say I don’t watch hallmark movies.
I like the actor from Schitt’s Creek, he played a veterinarian in that series and did a decent job. I didn’t like this Netflix movie, however. Pretentious and a bit ridiculous. Still, it was entertaining and so I watched the entire movie with my 95 yo mother. (She loved it by the way.)
I'm in a widow group and we have been chatting about this one for days (not that her being widowed is key to the "plot" here). I bailed about halfway through it the other night.

The actor playing snowman was so funny. Good at being in awe of everything new.
“I don’t know how but you’ve got frost bite on your cervix.”
