Great news.

Today, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced it's expanding PACT Act eligibility to veterans suffering from several more cancers.

Veterans, as well as survivors of veterans who passed due to these conditions, can now apply for benefits. My office is here to help you navigate this process.

My father was a Vietnam veteran exposed to AO. He fought of Skin, colon and prostate cancers as well as COPD. Sadly, he passed in 2021 with complications of pneumonia. I am glad for the advances in caring for our veterans. More mental health care!!!!

the funniest thing is that we regularly got chewed out for not wearing 70 lbs of gear and reflective PT belts inside the wire at all times, but we were fine to sit in clouds of burn pit smoke for 8 - 12 hour guard shifts, knowing that the VA wouldn't consider any health problems as service connected

Thanks for sharing. This is what I point to as good governance. Politics is poetry, but governing is all plumbing, and successful policy making is almost never noticed.
