I’m disgusted w/how these members voted too but vets didn’t cover themselves in glory. Vet turnout for A Pew Research poll found 61% of registered veterans voted for Trump v 37% for Harris. If vets hadn’t helped get Trump & the GOP elected, Collins would never have been an issue.

Now they are telling management at agencies to come up with plans for firing people. It would seem that normal procedure would be to FIRST ask managers how to trim staff, as the managers should know who's important. You don't cut staff and then ask, Oh, were they important?

I'd ask us frontline workers about their ideas to cut waste. We see a lot inefficiency on a daily basis. Also, being understaffed is inefficient, it leads to longer wait times and mistakes.

They really did just pick an entire code! Everything from cancer prevention programs to burial services to doctor recruitment campaigns for the VA, to medical services of various sorts — and the great majority of 1000+ contracts are with SDVOSB-owned small businesses made up of disabled veterans.
